Okay, I know the story has been recced everywhere and it is likely the podfic has been recced as well. But I'm going to do it anyway. Maybe it will be new to someone! Ordinary Life by astolat and cesperanza (aka Speranza, while not on LJ) is one of my very favorite SGA stories. Also astolat and speranza are two of the best SGA (and likely other fandoms as well) writers out there. I've read the story multiple times and listened to the podfic 2 or 3 times at least. The story is a little over 20,000 words and the podfic is just under 1 hour and 50 minutes. It is available as mp3 and m4b. The podfic is read by zoetrope and she does a beautiful job.

The story involves the boys on earth. They aren't romantically involved, at least initially, and John accompanies Rodney on a job while they are on leave. There is humor, romance, shopping, hot sex, genius Rodney and, eventually, adventure, bad guys and BAMF John.

While tagging my saved SGA fic, I came across this gorgeous, long, well-written, romantic story by blueraccoon. I had read it before, probably about a year ago. I remember thinking at the time how wonderful it was. I just reread the entire thing and feel the need to rec it. Be aware that a very bad thing happens about 2/3 of the way through part 1. BUT! The author believes in happy endings and so do I, so it is safe to keep reading. John/Rodney slash as is usual for my recs. The author has rated it NC-17. I'll have two podfic in the 2013 Podfic Big Bang! However, posting doesn't begin until August. I have recorded another podfic, but am  having a friend do the cover for it. I'll post it as soon as I can. 

Another podfic for a SGA story. This one is fairly long and is written by telesilla . I loved it when I read it and after a few re-reads, I still loved it. So I decided to podfic it. This one is John/Rodney, but the main focus is team.

Author's summary:

During a routine mission to check out an off-world Ancient lab, team Shep is cut off from Atlantis when the stargate is buried beneath a ton of rubble. There's another way off the planet, but getting there will not be easy.

I've recorded a podfic for Exceptionally Vivid by etben

It is sort of a tag to Grace Under Pressure as it happens afterwards and references things that happen in that episode. I'm a sucker for  tags/coda/followup/story extensions for Grace Under Pressure. Rodney whump and awesome David Hewlett. Sigh. And John and Radek to the rescue.
