This story is McShep and is fairly explicit. It has communication issues, awkwardness, action/adventure, humor, angst, hurt/comfort and love. Some of my favorite things when it comes to the boys. There are some medical treatments and injuries described in detail , so it may squick some people.  Rodney is seriously (not permanently!) injured and it makes John and Rodney realize a few things. It is a longer story at 23,033 words.
